I do remember women I knew having their hair done once a week, and it stayed nice for the whole week. Some wrapped toilet paper around their hair at night to hold the set. I envy women who have thick hair and can go out in the wind and their hair barely moves. Even with hairspray mine flies around. I guess you always want what you don't have, I have blond, fine, straight hair and wanted dark, thick, wavy hair. My daughter is in her thirties and luckily has some volume and wave in her brunette hair....she got more of what I wanted..
