I didn't hear the podcast, so I can't comment on that. However, I think the current crop of "Next-Gen" cars are too fragile, for "close contact" racing. I still remember the "battle" that Waltrip and Earnhardt had, at the original Richmond Fairgrounds track, with their late-80s bodied Monte Carlos. By the time the race was over, those two cars looked like refugees from the junkyard........but they were still turning decent lap times. They didn't have to deal with broken toe links, dragging air splitters, etc. (责任编辑:) |
